The World is Full of Our Souls

My iTunes music collection has 17,523 files in it.

What chance, then, that Adam Freeland’s ‘We Want Your Soul’ was directly followed by Aphex Twin’s ‘Come to Daddy’ (entire lyrics “I want your soul. I will eat your soul”)?

Something trying to tell me somebody?

(both great, btw. Posting the videos below if you don’t know them but let’s face it you probably already do as they are fucking years old. Like me.)

ADAM FREELAND – WE WANT YOUR SOUL (2003)

This is actually an unofficial video which pisses all over the official one. This will help with deprogramming the control matrix, I am sure. And, if not, is one of the best tracks of the early Noughties

APHEX TWIN – COME TO DADDY (1997)

Directed by Chris Cunningham, this was banned by MTV for being ‘too scary’

And for the bonus round:

PUZZLIN’ EVIDENCE – PERFORMED BY THE CAST OF TRUE STORIES (dir. David Byrne, music Talking Heads, 1986)
